Robins Financial Credit Union recently donated $410,000 to 21 organizations as part of its annual community project. Organizations submitted their applications and recipients were chosen by a special committee of the Robins Financial Board of Directors based on their application and request for funding, as well as their reputation and the work they do for the community.
Robins Financial is committed to the communities it serves and the community project demonstrates the continued support to improve those communities. The Community Project provides financial support to non-profit organizations whose goal is to help families and improve the physical and financial well-being of the community.
The community project began in 2015 and over the years, Robins Financial has donated over $1.4 million through this program. Applications are open from March 1 to the end of April each year and information is available on the Robins Financial website.
“We are proud to give back to our community by supporting these deserving organizations that make such a positive contribution,” said Christina O’Brien, President and CEO of Robins Financial Credit Union. “Our annual community project is one of the most impactful ways to live out our credit union mission of being member-driven, funder-driven and community-proud.”
