For Quad Cities residents looking to achieve their financial goals, from retirement planning and business investments to insurance and living wills or trusts, Desert Financial Credit Union can help.
The credit union has hired Prescott native Merissa Brinkerhoff, a professional with more than 20 years of financial planning experience, at its new Prescott Valley branch.
Brinkerhoff joined Desert Financial Wealth Management in December 2021, three months after the credit union opened its first branch in the Prescott Valley Quad Cities, a Desert Financial press release said this month.
The branch is located at 3100 Glassford Hill Rd inside Fry’s Food and Drug store.
“My passion is helping clients develop a plan and build assets that will carry them through their retirement years,” Brinkerhoff said in the release.
“Born and raised in Prescott, [Brinkerhoff] uniquely understands our community and his years of experience have taught him how to navigate various economic conditions and regulatory changes here,” the statement added. “She believes a well-designed portfolio is just the start of a sustainable financial plan and takes a holistic approach to wealth management.”
Brinkerhoff also specializes in helping people who have experienced the death of a loved one “navigate the tasks involved in settling an estate,” the statement said.
