Help for TopLine Financial Credit Union Members and Employees

MAPLE GROVE, Minn., Nov. 01, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — TopLine Financial Credit The Union’s annual Personal Care Drive held during the month of September benefited three local non-profit organizations, Avenues for young people, Keystone Community Services and Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities. Top line Members and employees generously donated a variety of personal care items including shower gel and soap, toothpaste and brushes, diapers, hair care products and more to help our neighbors in need.

Employees were able to participate by donating personal care items and cash in exchange for a “Friday/Saturday Foundation” sticker, allowing them to wear jeans to work. TopLine members can also purchase items from our Amazon Wishlist or Target Registry and have them delivered directly to TopLine, and in return, we deliver to our charitable the partners. By the end of the program, TopLine employees and members had donated more than 1,391 personal care items and nearly $1,006 in cash to help local individuals and families in need.

“We are so grateful for all the support we have received to help our communities as basic needs continue to rise,” said Tom Smith, President and CEO of TopLine. “By working together, we can have a positive impact, as TopLine remains dedicated to our social mission of helping others.

Since 2002, TopLine Financial Credit Union employees and members have been involved in several programs each year benefiting Avenues for Youth, Keystone Community Services and Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities. In addition to the annual personal care drive, these efforts have included drives for food, clothing, books, bicycles, back-to-school supplies and holiday gifts.

Avenues for Yoyes provides emergency shelter, short-term housing and support services to homeless youth in a safe and nurturing environment. There are more than 6,000 homeless youths in Minnesota every night. Avenues shelters in Brooklyn Park and Minneapolis help more than 300 young people. Visit to learn more.
