Community Financial Credit Union in Plymouth, Michigan has named Tansley Stearns as its next president and CEO.

The $1.3 billion-asset credit union announced that Stearns, who is currently chief operating officer of the $3.8 billion-asset Canvas credit union in Lone Tree, Colorado, will begin his tenure. at the head of CFCU at the beginning of June. Stearns succeeds William “Bill” Lawton, who has been with the credit union since 1982 and has announced his intention to retire next July.
