Arbor Financial Credit Union opens branch in Hudsonville

A Kalamazoo-based credit union has opened a new branch in Hudsonville.

Arbor Financial Credit Union opened a store Monday at 3961 32nd Ave. in Hudsonville. It is the 12 of Arbore branch overall and third in the Grand Rapids area.

The new branch “will better serve the growing members (of Arbor) and expand its presence in the market,” the credit union said.

“We are excited about the growth we have experienced and thrilled to join the Hudsonville community where we can better serve our neighbors and area businesses,” said Julie Blitchok, CEO of Arbor Financial.

Construction of the Hudsonville branch began in early August 2020 and was completed at the end of January.

Glas Associates, based in Kalamazoo, was the architect and contractor for the project.

The 3,022 square foot one storey facility has a 24 hour full service ATM and six private offices. The branch will provide a full range of banking services, including free checks and savings, mortgages, auto loans, small business loans and more.

Heidi Walker is the branch manager, overseeing a personal banker and two cashiers.

The Credit Union is celebrating Grand Opening Week by inviting the community to stop by the branch for more information and to enter a raffle for an Apple Watch, daily prizes, and a free cup of coffee when they drop in. visit.
